The IT131 Overhead Spacer Frame Conveyor is an outstanding solution for optimizing logistical efficiency in the vertical storage process of spacer profiles. Its design aims to ensure flawless support for insulating glass unit (IGU) profiles before they are installed on the glass. Equipped with both automatic and manual functionality, it provides unparalleled versatility during operations.

The machine is designed to operate in a fully automatic mode, thanks to the integration of an optical sensor positioned on the frame of the machine. This mode allows the operator to focus exclusively on loading the machine, minimizing manual intervention. Alternatively, the transport movement can be activated manually, either via a foot pedal or a push button located on the machine’s edge, ensuring direct and precise control. The fixed structure is complemented by a series of translatable anchors, configured according to the machine’s specifications, to optimally support the profiles. The moving chains, installed on lubrication-free chain guides, not only ensure smooth operation but also contribute to extending the chains’ lifespan, thereby reducing maintenance requirements.

With specially designed hooks, the motorized spacer frame carrying unit can transport profiles of varying dimensions, with a minimum length of 100 x 200 mm and a standard maximum length of 2600 x 2000 mm. Lastly, the support rings, coated with polyurethane material, play a crucial role in preventing damage to the butyl sealant during contact, ensuring continuous and uninterrupted production. All operator controls are low-voltage and come with safety features that comply with European regulations to prevent access to hazardous parts of the machine.
