The Itech insulated glass scanner is the ideal solution for ensuring an objective quality control of glass, allowing for the precise identification of defects such as bubbles, inclusions, scratches, fingerprints, low-emissivity coating defects, residues, dirt, and black spots. This state-of-the-art device guarantees high standards of precision and reliability, making it particularly suitable for medium to large-sized glassworks.
Designed for the automatic inspection of glass defects in-line, the Itech scanner ensures that only the highest quality glass reaches the market. However, defects such as halos, very thin scratches, and low-contrast spots, which are not visible to the naked eye with light behind the glass, are not detected.
The Itech IGU scanner ensures rapid inspection without compromising quality control, and it is suitable for various types of glass, including low-emissivity glass. Additionally, it features an intuitive and easy-to-understand interface for the operator, allowing for the modification of rules and minimum defect sizes to be detected.
The system is primarily composed of an illuminator installed at the front of the rack, a series of verification systems located at the back, and a compact, mobile display station usually positioned near the profile alignment rack to facilitate various checks by the operator.
