The Glass Tilting Conveyor ITBR is designed to transport and, if necessary, tilt single glass panes or insulated glass units (IGUs) from a vertical to a horizontal position and vice versa, quickly and safely. Initially conceived to be installed as the outlet conveyor of the press and function as a horizontal platform for the manual sealing of IGUs, its current configuration can be added or considered as a replacement for any conveyor at any point in the edging, washing, or pressing process. This machine supports glass production in optimizing space by giving the conveyor a dual function.

The transition from vertical to horizontal position is facilitated by a special tilting system with a self-braking electric gear motor, ensuring the conveyor remains stationary during power outages or maintenance. Polyurethane rollers provide additional safety and stability during movement. The conveyor surface features specially designed rollers for glass handling. The tilting conveyor is adaptable to existing machines in the production line and can reach a transfer speed of up to 40 meters per minute, ensuring a continuous and fast production flow. The table is constructed from a steel structure treated with high-resistance epoxy paint, on which various systems are implemented for handling glass panels are positioned.

The conveyor is equipped with a series of wheels arranged incrementally from bottom to top, or it can be equipped with vulcanized EPDM rollers. The drives are independent and retractable, and the conveyor is horizontally adjustable, allowing the operator maximum versatility. Upon request, 2/4 suction cups can be integrated to secure the glass when in the horizontal position, ensuring additional stability. Tilting can be done manually by the operator or integrated into the control system of the machine to which the conveyor is added, using a touchscreen control panel.
