The APUS Vertical Dry Seaming Machine represents the most compact and innovative solution on the market for glass edge processing. Fully automated, it is designed to autonomously measure incoming glass dimensions and process its edges. The edge seaming process eliminates sharp edges and imperfections, ensuring safer handling in subsequent processes and enhancing product quality by improving mechanical strength and reducing the risk of breakage.
This machine seamlessly integrates into any insulated glass or tempered glass production line, or it can be used independently to process any type of glass, including monolithic, laminated, or low-emissivity (Low-E) glass. Its modular structure includes an inlet conveyor, a central glass seaming unit, and an outlet conveyor. The design can be customized with additional conveyors to handle glass panes up to 6 meters in length.
Thanks to its dry processing technology, the APUS Seaming Machine eliminates the need for water, resulting in significant water savings during production.
The effectiveness of the process is ensured by the use of specially designed flap abrasive discs, which simultaneously processing the glass edge on two sides. The numerically controlled movement axes guarantee unmatched speed, precision, and uniformity during the process. To maintain a clean and safe working environment, the APUS seaming machine is equipped with a powerful dust extraction system that can be easily moved to facilitate use.
The electrical control system is centralized in a control panel located at the rear of the machine, while the front touch screen panel with a 12-inch monitor provides an intuitive and comprehensive interface with the ITECH software. All operator controls operate at low voltage and are equipped with safety features in accordance with European standards to prevent access to hazardous parts of the machine. Our machines comply with CE certification.
The advanced version utilizes independent electropneumatic regulators for each head, which activate and adjust the pressure according to the values preset by the operator through the interface, without requiring manual intervention.
ADDITIONAL CONVEYORThe additional conveyor can be positioned both before the machine inlet conveyor and after the outlet conveyor. It occupies no more depth than the machine itself. Allows processing of glass up to 6000 mm in length. After the outlet conveyor , with 2 motors, it becomes a storage zone for smaller glass sizes.
ROTATING CORNER CONVEYORThe 90° rotating corner conveyor can be installed both before the machine inlet conveyor and after the outlet conveyor. Its standard length is 3500 mm. It requires a space of 4000 mm x 4000 mm.Allows rotation (0°-90°) of glass up to 3500 mm in length. Enables the integration of new machines into the production line even if space in the building would not allow it.
