The Automatic Panel Press from the TAURO series represents the optimal solution for companies in the glass industry dedicated to the production of insulating glass units for doors, windows, and heavy architectural components, ensuring high-quality results.
The machine is fully automated and equipped with sensors that allow for automatic learning of glass dimensions, along with a glass pressing system, minimizing the risks of errors by the operator. The press offers a wide range of applications, including pressing of double, triple, shaped, and structural insulating glasses (staggered glass on two sides with standard version, with optional on all four sides), guaranteeing precise and high-quality processing for thicknesses up to 60 mm (extendable up to 80 mm upon request).
Designed for glass lengths up to 3000 mm (extendable over 3500 mm with optionals), glass transport is carried out using friction rollers in polyurethane mounted on bearings and bushings, driven by a tank-traction mechanism, ensuring support and integrity of glass panes. The process begins with the transfer of the first glass sheet from the washing module to the profile alignment conveyor for quality control. Once the quality is verified, the glass is transferred inside the press where it is held in place mechanically, ensuring perfect alignment between the various glasses to be assembled. The press movable panel, through suction cups operated by a vane pump for vacuum, takes over the first glass pane. The second glass pane is transferred to the profile alignment conveyor, where the operator checks the quality and applies the butyl spacer or profile. After quality control and spacer application, the second glass is transferred inside the press to complete the insulating glass unit pressing cycle. For triple glazing, this phase of the process is repeated. The insulated glass unit is then pressed and transported to the outlet conveyor with a maximum speed of 28 meters per minute.
The software interface provides the operator with complete freedom in managing every phase of production, ensuring practical and efficient control. Additionally, the TAURO press can be manually operated via the touchscreen, even in the presence of electronic component failures. All operator-accessible commands are at low voltage, and protections are in place to prevent access to dangerous parts of the machine. These measures ensure a safe and protected working environment during the use of the machinery.
