The single-head TAURO Automatic Glass Sealing Robot is designed to perform the final sealing of rectangular panels and shaped glasses, previously paired and pressed, ensuring a fast and flawless sealing on the glass edges and corners. This machine represents the optimal solution for any glass factory that aims to produce double or triple panels with thicknesses up to 60 mm (Upon request, modifications for thicknesses up to 80 mm can be implemented).
Our sealing robot is fully automatic and includes an inlet conveyor, a sealing head moved by a vertical axis, and an outlet conveyor. The traction system is designed with synchronized chains and equidistant feet, ensuring the support of triple glass and minimizing contact with the sealed part during the entire production process.
The head consists of a compensating cylinder, a depth gauge, and an extrusion nozzle controlled by a pneumatic actuator. The system allows extrusion at a sealing depth of up to 17 mm in automatic mode (upon request, modifications for a higher sealing depth can be implemented). The unit is integrated with a sensor for detecting the presence of glass, a spatula for cleaning corners, a flexible tube, a mixer attached to a pre-mixer of our invention, through a swivel fitting with special gaskets.
The extrusion system is based on a syringe moved by a ball screw driven by a cycloidal reducer and a brushless motor with drive. Pneumatic pumps feed the syringe extrusion system (one pump and syringe respectively for component A and B), integrated with a heating system (optional), for component A, which allows maintaining uniform material extrusion even in the presence of external temperature variations. Among the options, the double syringe extrusion system allows continuous sealing even on triple glasses with large channels, reducing downtime for pump refills and increasing productivity.
The mixing ratio can be adjusted via the touchscreen based on the ratio required by the material manufacturer to be used for sealing. The machine is capable of using any type of sealant available on the market, including polysulfide, silicone, or polyurethane-based ones. For more aggressive materials, an external washing system can be installed on the machine with a tank and a pump that allows cleaning the mixer at the end of the work cycle, thus extending its durability and performance.
The machine is equipped with analog and digital pressure switches, as well as alarm sensors to signal the end of the material. The electronic and mechanical systems are controlled by a multi-axis software compliant with the latest 4.0 technologies, managed by an industrial computer with touchscreen operator interface. All commands available to the operator operate at low voltage and are equipped with protections compliant with European regulations to prevent access to dangerous parts of the machine. Our machinery complies with CE certification.

ADDITIONAL INLET CONVEYOR (Ver.2)By adding an additional inlet conveyor, it becomes possible to make double glazing units longer than 4000 mm.
ADDITIONAL OUTLET CONVEYORBy adding an exit espalier, productivity is increased and it is possible to create double glazing units with a length exceeding 4000 mm.
GLASS THICKNESS DETECTION SYSTEMThe non-invasive laser beam sensor is effective and high-performance in detecting thicknesses in double glazing, working excellently on all types of transparent glass.
DOUBLE INDEPENDENT MOTORIZATIONBy integrating a servo-drive with motor/reducer and dividing the transport system into two separate zone, we are able to position a sealed glass panel on the outlet conveyor while another is undergoing sealing at the same time, thus increasing production, especially with small and medium size glass panes.
